It was Friday yesterday, a public holiday in Terengganu. As usual, l was occupied with handling my kids frantically, my three year old son and his sister, a three month old baby. My husband was away for an out-station in KL. So hectic schedule as my son is very active and vibrant! So, that's why l did not post message yesterday as l could not even open my laptop just to type a few paragraphs. So regret could not even update my blog especially during weekends. So,l woke up at 1.30 a.m. and after performing isya' prayer, l begun to surf, could not waste any more time , before they wake up.
If you have no commitment except studies, so use this goldon opportunity to read and write a lot. Sometimes, like myself, l need to wake up at 2 or 3 a.m. just to be able to read my favourite books on self-improvement or do research on some interesting topics like Biotechnology & Ethics and Halal Product/hub.
My favourite authors like Dato' Dr. Hj. Fadzillah Kamsah, Azizi Ali, Dr. Irfan Khairi (went to his internet seminar and it was great. You should try it!) and Robert S. Schuller. During my university days, l used to read books by Robert S.Schuller, author that wrote "Be Happy" (cannot remember his name at the moment),Tony Buzan on mind mapping and dozens of novels while enjoyed my hot cup of coffea and pastry! It was my enjoyable moments those days.
Anyway, when you have settled down, you have to choose the appropriate time and discipline yourself as workloads are enormous. So, as student, your free time is regarded as your way to create wealth as in order to be rich not only you need to have lots of money, but also you need to enrich your innerself with knowledge, self confidence and dignity. It is called nutritionous food for your mind and soul.
When we have acquired certain knowledge, our confidence will be at the high level, we are not easily be intimidated with people's bad opinions against us and will find ways to improve our social relationship with others. Now, that's we call a smart person. No a stupid person but cant think of his/her own . Yet so hard to be taught (Like an old malay proverb says : Bodoh sombong or Bodoh tapi tak boleh nak diajar).
By that time, self esteem will come into the picture. I am used to have my certain principles of life been posted on my noticeboard so that everyday before l went to lectures/tutorials or met my friends, the words would trigger my thought and that's what make me a firm yet persistent person at present.
I post you a question, do you have what it takes to have a high self-esteem and have freedom on personal finance? When l asked few students"Do you have the weekly dose of inspiration 1 and/or 2 that can be put at your desk and be read many times daily at any time without hassle? No or silence will always be their answers. Imagine, you can spend RM30 or RM50 just to top up your credit on hand phone yet you never cross your mind ot buy something which costs only (during my time less than RM25, MPH outlets), bought once and it is everlasting!
The said Inspiration calendar is go great to read it every day though it is claimed Weekly Dose of Inspiration. It has meaningful garphic designs with appropriate words quoted from famous persons like Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie, John Maxwell, Abraham Lincoln, B.C. Forbes,Mahatma Gandhi, Michealangelo, Helen Keller and many others (Just to name a few).
The golden rule on self-esteem , enrich yourself with knowledge. How to reach it? By reading, reading, reading and writing. How to write if you know nothing about the stuff that you are planning to write and let others to read it?
Before l leave, l would like to quote proverb taken from my soon to be 4 year old Weekly Dose of Inspiration 2 -The Power of Faith
It's so important
to believe in yourself
Believe that you can do it,
under any circumstances.
Because if you believe you can,
then you really will.
That belief just keeps you
searching for the answers.
and then pretty soon you get it.
(Wally "Famous" Amos)
Till then, keep reading!
Adios...

Assalamualaikum Fa...
I'm honoured(I always regard you as one of my best friends) to be the first person to write a comment on your blog. To be honest, as a friend I have always admired you during our university time. I always admire your discipline, hardwork, persistence and high self-esteem. Unlike myself, I really struggled with my self-discipline during my university days. Thus, I had to learn in a hard way - migrated to the UK with no money, newly wed and struggled with my marriage, no working experience and a qualification from Malaysia that most of employers in the UK refuse to recognise. I was no better any uneducated newly migrated Indon in Malaysia. That was really hard!!!! With Allah's help and purely hard-work, self-diciplined and self-belief - I'm doing very well now that was unimaginable 5 years ago. And now, I'm one of the biggest self-dicipline fan!!!!
Lots of love,
