Are you creative? You can be like Leonardo Da Vinci , Alexander Graham Bell and young inventor like Jeanie Law who was granted US patent for her "Folding step for cabinet doors" invention at the age of 11! So, anyone has an equal opportunity to be an inventor.He or she must apply for a patent that is an official document given to an inventor by a government in which it gives inventors the right to stop anyone else from copying, using, distributing or selling the invention without their permission.
An invention is a new product or process that solves a technical problem. a discovery is something that already existed but had not been found.
In order to invent, an inventor must identify a need or problem. Then, he will think of a creative way to solve the problem and work hard to make that solution possible.
Inventions improve our lives in many ways they make our tasks easier and improve our knowledge and even save lives.
If you are creative, you can actually obtain patents by submitting a patent application in which it must fulfills the conditions of novelty-new as compared to the prior arts, inventive steps (non obviousness) and industrial applicability (Utility).
Why l discuss this heavy topic? because sometimes we need to expand our horizons and able to think as creative as we can that can money in a different way, although it is different from our course taken.
Do not limit yourself. As for me, l am in the middle of taking another professional course i.e. Patent Agent Examination which will be held in early September this year.
